The Bug Out Bag

Re: The Bug Out Bag
I think he's packing way too heavy.
Dental floss? Hot water heater? Maps are gold in a bug-out situation. I suggest having a main bag, then a 2ndary load you can shove into it that has cold-weather gear. Really, when you think about it, perhaps its best not to have 'a bag' but a bunch of tight bundles which you can stuff into the bug-out-bag as needed based on category. In a situation where a ton of medical supplies or cooking gear is not necessary, you'll be quite pleased not to be carrying around pans and bulky fuels and bandages. I'm planning my bag to be attachable to a saddle or a bicycle or motorcycle, too. You never know the scenario. |
Re: The Bug Out Bag
It would have been interesting to have the weight of that equipment.

Re: The Bug Out Bag
LAPG has a great price on their bag - $19.99.
